How the CredFluence Trust Score is calculated

The full methodology behind every score shown on CredFluence

How is the CredFluence Trust Score calculated?

The Trust Score is an algorithmic assessment on a 300–900 scale, calculated from verified reviews, ratings across multiple dimensions, reported payment behaviour, and platform activity.

Every profile starts at a neutral baseline of 650 before any reviews are verified. The score moves up or down as new reviews are verified and as older reviews age.

CredFluence does not guarantee the accuracy of Trust Scores — they are informational and should not be the sole basis for a business decision.

What does a CredFluence Trust Score mean?

Scores fall on a 300–900 scale, grouped into four broad bands. Exact cutoffs are tuned as the scoring model evolves, so treat the ranges below as directional rather than fixed.

  • 300–449 — Building Trust: Few or no verified reviews yet. Treat as an unproven track record rather than a red flag on its own.
  • 450–599 — Developing: Some verified reviews exist, with a mixed or still-emerging payment and collaboration history.
  • 600–749 — Good Standing: A consistent history of verified reviews and reported collaborations with no major unresolved disputes.
  • 750–900 — Excellent: A strong, well-verified track record across many reviews, with reliable reported payment and collaboration behaviour.

What data does CredFluence use to score a profile?

The Trust Score draws on several inputs tied to a profile:

  • Verified reviews submitted by other creators, brands, or agencies.
  • Ratings across multiple dimensions within each review, not a single overall number.
  • Reported payment behaviour and collaboration outcomes described in reviews.
  • General platform activity, such as how recently and consistently a profile is active.

How often are Trust Scores updated?

A Trust Score recalculates whenever a new review involving that profile is verified and approved, so scores can change within days of a collaboration being reviewed rather than on a fixed monthly or quarterly cycle.
